About the event

A Harvest of Abundance Yoga Class

As the autumn leaves begin to change we turn toward the harvest in preparation for winter.  In this class we will work to cultivate a sense of abundance in our practice and in our lives.  This class will involve 50-60 minutes of movement, breathwork, and 25 minutes of Yoga Nidra focused on building abundance within.

Led by Gene O'Neill, RYT 500 instructor.  Gene began his Yoga journey in 2005 with Tony Pena and further pursued his teaching certification and dedication in yoga with Derik Eselius and Denver Yoga Underground. Gene’s life beyond yoga includes his family, pets, friends, a muggle job, and a strong

commitment to service in the community. He has served as a Scout leader since 2012 dedicating several

hours a week to working with and mentoring youth. He has completed and led leadership trainings for

youth and adults, facilitated summer camps for youth, and continues to serve in these roles.

Gene teaches from the understanding that we are all on our own journey, and that this path

intersects with the paths of others in fascinating ways. The exploration of these intersections and

commonalities leads to a deeper practice, and ultimately, a deeper understanding of ourselves. The

pose is only a starting point, it does not define Yoga. Ultimately you must find the pose that works for

you on any given day, and let that exploration, along with your breath, guide you.
