What Is Breathwork:

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a 3 part breathing technique that is done lying down on the floor while listening to music to help support engagement in the process.

Breathwork is a modern term for the ancient practices of breathing consciously using a number of specific techniques and originates from yogic breathing, or 'pranayama'.

This technique can bypass the thinking mind to relieve stress, calm the mind, decrease toxins, boost energy, relieve unprocessed emotions and give access to heightened states of consciousness.

Breathwork helps release the pent-up tension stored within the tissues of the body, giving the body permission to recalibrate.

Studies have shown that Breathwork as a treatment can reduce symptoms associated with trauma and help regulate the nervous system.

Breathwork practices down regulate the prefrontal cortex, the part of our brain responsible for thinking and analyzing, and activates the limbic part of our brain, where our subconscious patterns, memories and behaviors are stored.

What to Bring: Eye mask, journal, pen, water, a pillow, optional to bring your own yoga mat or blanket.
