Neuro-Inclusive & Adaptive Yoga
All minds, all bodies. Accessible, trauma-conscious using a blended and gentle approach.
Service Description
Find your flow through a practice that centers your body’s unique orientation to the world. This offering creates space for all of you to show up with patient presence. Each class begins with an invitation to move freely before settling in, followed by reflection and journaling, before moving into a gentle flow, and closing with meditation or grounding practices. Themes of this class center ease, access, grounding, and make space for joyful movement. Led by Sarah Anne and/or Georgia, this class is informed by evidence-based occupational and clinical practice. If you require any accommodations, please let us know and we will do our best to support you. Bios: Sarah Anne Hart, OTD, OTR/L, RYT-200 (they/them) works as an occupational therapist at Hart and Haven LLC. In that role they provide neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based care to support neurodivergent adults and teens to become their favorite selves. Through this work and a later-in-life autism diagnosis, they found a love of yoga as a tool to promote embodied living and increased access to regulation and joy. They love making space for stimming, pursuing life-long learning, and incorporating universal design principles into the everyday. Georgia Horne, LSW, RYT-200 (they/she) is a licensed social worker, trauma therapist, 200-hr Yoga Alliance certified teacher, founder of Bloomspace Therapy and mountain dweller. With a trauma-informed, neuroexpansive, and queer-affirming lens, they encourage the embodiment of rest, joy, and wonder through a contemplative approach. They view somatic integration as an essential part of liberation work and collective thriving, supporting you to experience a more whole sense of kinship to your mind, body, and way of being.
