Service Description

LBGTQ+ & allied comrades welcome. Register online or drop-in. A dynamic yoga experience with the intention to help others locate their personal power & autonomy through embodied, spiritual practice. The class structures will include asanas (physical poses), pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and discussion. Teachings will provide tools for students to identify & regulate the nervous system and generate spaciousness within thoughts & actions while opening up to the unfolding that begins with Self exploration. Class themes will be informed through weather & astrological seasons with foundational components stemming from Hatha Yoga. Emerson (they/them) has been a personal practitioner of Yoga for 10 years; in 2023, they gained their teacher certification through Denver Yoga Underground’s program studying under Derik Eselius & Beth Sanchez. They bring their unique lens to teaching through personal experience and community work as a Hospice RN.
